Educational Philosophy

I believe under-performing students are under-served students and it is our responsibility to meet each child where they are. Through clear expectations, positive relationships, collaboration, and a welcoming school climate, we have the opportunity to shape lives for all students.

Objectives/Goals

  • Through collaboration and highly effective instructional strategies, our students will achieve at least one year's measure of growth.

  • Parent and community member participation in classrooms and Mary Chapa Academy events will increase by at least 10%.

  • Our Positive Behavior and Intervention Supports (PBIS) efforts will result in a decrease of suspensions and referrals.

Leadership Mission

My mission as Principal is to ensure high levels of collaboration and achievement for ALL. Our Mary Chapa community will remain committed to academic excellence by way of the arts and social emotional learning.
