  • Franciscan Workers - House of Peace

The House of Peace advances to the step beyond a homeless shelter. It’s a transitional living program that promotes and provides safety, stability, and well-being for adults who have experienced chronic homelessness. Very much like interim housing, twelve to fourteen residents live in two separate communities, supporting each other toward positive, healthier lifestyles.

As a resident, you will have access to counseling, linkage to community resources, educational direction, financial and literacy programs, assistance with building your income, applying for benefits, job training and employment readiness, and help to get the very most out of Medi-Cal and other healthcare options. There is a resident manager, social workers, and a housing navigator on-site to help you find permanent housing.

To apply for House of Peace Transitional Housing or House of Peace Permanent Supportive Housing, please call Program Director Roman Pérez at 831-998-2148 or email roman.perez@dorothysplace.org
