California Rural Legal Assistance (CRLA) in Salinas, CA, provides free legal services to low-income individuals and families in Monterey County.

- Income must be less than 125% of Federal Poverty Guidelines (up to 200% in special situations)
- U.S. citizen or legal immigrant

The Monterey County Bar Association's Lawyer Referral Service connects you with pre-screened, local attorneys who specialize in areas like business law, civil litigation, and family law. To get a referral, you'll pay a non-refundable $50 administrative fee, which includes a 30-minute consultation .
